Over Christmas and New Year I found myself feeling uninspired by the clothes in my wardrobe. I wanted to branch out and find some new pieces that made me feel a little more satisfied with what I am wearing.
I discovered through Facebook that there was a vintage sale being held in Glasgow on the 4th February and thought that it would be an obvious go to event. I read more about it and learned that for every kilo of clothes you paid £15. New clothes and low prices? The ideal situation!
I went through countless racks and rails of t-shirts, dresses, jeans and jumpers to search out some new pieces.
I left spending with 2 t-shirts and a sweatshirt for a total of £20!
I would definitely attend another vintage sale to see what other bits I could pick up. It was very different experience to shopping in high street stores. You have to be very quick and pick up what you see when you see it or otherwise – it’s gone!
